The Tomlin Family farm was puchased in 1946 by George and Edna Tomlin. The 3 and 1/2 acre parcel is nestled in the NW corner of Bellingham Washington. It remained a working farm with cows, pigs, chickens and some gardening until the 1960’s when Bellingham pushed its cities limits passed the residence and the elder Tomlins retired. It is now the Homestead of Birchwood Botanicals.
